2022 was a year of new learnings, facing the economic impact of war, and adapting to the new reality. Despite all the difficulties and shortcomings, it was also a year of exciting partnerships, achievements, clients, and accolades for Kantox. We said goodbye to 2022 and now we welcome 2023 by taking a look back at the last 12 months. We are sure that the new year will bring many opportunities for growth. Let’s look at the highlights.

Celebrating a new era

We started the year with a bang as Kantox was awarded the Best FX Risk Management Solution in the 2021 TMI Awards. And when October came, we announced one of the biggest and most exciting news of the year, the BNPP acquisition. We are proud to be part of such an amazing company that has believed in us since the beginning of the relationship, first as partners and now becoming part of the organisation. The acquisition will help us accelerate growth and expand our offering to a wide range of corporate clients across the globe with the currency management solution they need to reduce FX risk.

Crossing borders

They say teamwork makes the dream work and we agree. We could not have accomplished all of this without a great team of talented and diverse people that contribute to the success of the company. Last year, we welcomed 66 new joiners who will help skyrocket our growth. We also celebrated the 44 different nationalities with an International Food Contest, that gave us the opportunity to experience the different cultures we grew up in through tasty homemade dishes.

Mens sana in corpore sano

In 2022, Kantox wanted to focus on the team's mental health and physical well-being. In March, we held Wellbeing Week to promote a healthier active lifestyle with several activities where we learned nutrition tips and the importance of moving our bodies.

Later in November, we collaborated with Stop to Move to implement an initiative that helps reduce the stress of the daily routine. This included mindfulness sessions that help the team practice consciousness while they work to improve their focus, and short active sessions to stretch and keep the blood flowing.

Time to give back

Finally, we acknowledge how difficult last year was economically for many families. So we wanted to end the year by giving back to those who have struggled the most. During our Christmas Advent Week, we collaborated with the Lukas NGO which supports severely disabled young people and their families providing the resources they need to live a better life.2022 was a great year for Kantox, even with the hardships of the uncertain future. We would like to give special thanks to all of our valued customers and partners for their continued support, as well as the amazing Kantox team for giving their best efforts working behind the scenes. From all of us at Kantox, we wish you an exciting new year.
