We adore challenges.

Before we even finish one we’re already thinking of what to take on next. We do this because we love to set ourselves lofty goals, push ourselves to higher targets and feel the immense satisfaction of beating them.

For that reason we identify ourselves with people and companies like us, who have deleted the word “impossible” from their dictionary. At Kantox we continue to grow. We continue to pursue new goals and leave accomplished challenges in our wake. Challenges that only a few years ago seemed so far away that they were impossible to even consider. Who would have thought that by today we would have reached $1.5 billion in total transactions? We didn’t have this figure in mind because we don’t believe in imposing limits. And as we grow the challenges grow with us.

Now, we are redoubling our efforts to focus on managing the rapid growth of the company and apply our philosophy to all of our procedures. Here’s how we’ll apply our challenger philosophy. Last year we joined the cause of a challenger just like ourselves. Caterham, the Formula One team needed a sponsor to participate in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. We believed in the project. We believed that David could beat Goliath and we felt that something big was about to happen. So we proudly sponsored the team. The impact was extraordinary. We loved it. But we know that the size of the challenge is not measured by the global television audience watching the grand prix or by the return on investment but rather by knowing that we were part of something greater.

For this reason, it is now time for Best Buddies.

BestBuddies Triteam 2015

A few weeks ago we received a call from Best Buddies, a charity organisation whose goal is to promote friendship with people who live with a learning disability, in order to help their integration into society. They wanted to get to know us and make a proposal.

At the time, we wondered, why would they call us instead of any of the multitude of huge companies with large marketing budgets and active social action policies? So we spoke to Best Buddies. We soon found that they were just like us: authentic challengers. Nobody told them what they could or couldn’t do. It was quickly apparent that they were no ordinary charity group and that they had an insatiable desire towards setting and smashing their goals. These young athletes wanted to make a very important personal challenge possible – a triathlon. In order to do this, they asked us for some support; a little financial help to purchase the tandem bikes for the race.

We couldn’t do it.

At least not how they asked. Kantox does not simply give money for our logo to appear somewhere.Kantox participates in the projects that we believe in, and we believe in Best Buddies. Since that day, we became blood brothers. We have trained with them and we will run, swim and cycle with them, shoulder to shoulder. The Best Buddies challenge is similar in a way to our day-to-day work. Our work consists of being at the side of our clients, bringing security and confidence, and helping them to achieve their own goals by offering what we are best at. And we won’t be alone. We’ve invited some clients, who are also passionate concerning the challenge and will participate too.

And you, what will you do for Best Buddies?

The Best Buddies campaign deserves more visibility and social awareness to improve the lives of the people they help. You are in charge of your goals. Only you can decide to take them on or stay in your comfort zone. But what if you could help others in need to reach their own goals? This is what we try to do at Kantox. Help us.

Spread the word.

We will compete in the triathlon alongside Best Buddies on the 21st of June.We will cheer them on when their legs start to tire, spur them on when they swim against a strong current, toil with them to reach the finish line and help them scale the podium of victory. You have the power to give more visibility to this cause. The power to reach more people. We will give blood, sweat and tears if we have to, by their sides. You can help with a simple click. Doing so will go a long way to helping people with disabilities to realise their dream.
