Kantox wins Best e-FX Platform for Corporates at FX Week Awards

Published July 12, 2019

It’s official. Kantox has just been voted the Best e-FX Platform for Corporates at the 2019 FX Week e-FX Awards.

The awards, which took place at the Metropolitan Club, New York, on July 11, saw Kantox named among other global foreign exchange industry leaders

“We are thrilled to receive the award for Best e-FX Platform for Corporates at the FX Week e-FX Awards,” says Kantox’s CEO, Philippe Gelis.

“Since 2013, this is a category that has almost exclusively been won by banks, so it’s positive to see our technology recognised as a breakthrough alternative for corporates,” he concludes.

On top of the platform sit Kantox’s modular solutions, which include Dynamic Hedging, a micro-hedging solution to fully automate FX risk management. Straight-through processing is used to speed up processing time and streamline execution.

“As a fintech, we are not burdened by the legacy issues that limit the banking industry when serving corporates,” Philippe continues. “With that in mind, we’ve focused our efforts on building a set of scalable FX solutions that help treasurers to automate processes across a range of currency management functions.”

Along with FX risk management automation, Kantox also offers payments in 137 currencies and has currency accounts in 29 currencies. The API connects seamlessly to any ERP or TMS, and can be plugged in to multi-dealer platforms like FXall and 360T for multi-bank execution.

Growth mindset

After consistently appearing on various high-growth lists, the company is poised for further expansion with the announcement of several key banking partnerships in the pipeline.

“Kantox is in an excellent position in terms of the solutions and value we now provide. We are not only solving currency management challenges for our clients, we will also be helping our banking partners’ clients. There’s a lot to look forward to in the coming months in terms of partnerships with banks and new geographies,” he concludes.

The FX Week e-FX Awards are described as recognising industry excellence in electronic foreign exchange among banks, brokers, vendors and the buy-side.
