“Additional Fintech Subsectors”

definition

Fintech is the term used to describe a vast array of financial service companies. Numerous sectors are covered by this term, which goes beyond the main fintech categories. These include financial advisory services, such as NestEgg.

Fintech is even home to companies that have set themselves major objectives for achieving social change, such as Kifiya, which aims to “bank the unbanked”. Other sub-sectors that fall under the fintech umbrella include financial research and consultancy, remittance and payments, banking infrastructure and retail banking.

The common feature of all fintech companies is to leverage technology in order to provide financial services to their clients.
